AD - HOC BOOKINGS 

Do you have a passion of working with children?  Do you have a spare day that you would like to fill? Then we would love to hear from you! We offer a range of positions from part time to full time and also permanent, temporary and overnight. We regularly receive bookings for care anytime of the day, so if you are flexible then this may just suit you. Bookings may be pre planned or last minute; however there is no pressure to accept! Let us know your availability and we may be able to offer you extra work.

The following applies - 

  • All Nannies must have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in an approved childcare setting or private home

  • You must have a minimum qualification of a level 2 in childcare and education or equivalent or have 5 years experience of being a nanny

  • You will need to have attended a peadiatric first aid training certificate dated within the last 2 years or be willing to attend the course

  • Hold and an enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

  • A driver with access to your own car is desirable

  • You must have a minimum of 2 references working within an approved childcare setting

WEDDING & EVENTS NANNIES 

We are always recruiting professional nannies to join our team to provide a bespoke service, typically caring for children while their is a wedding or an event going ahead, recruiting nannies to work at various venues across Yorkshire. Most events are held on a weekend so you must be prepared to work weekends through to the evenings. You will be working with other nannies as part of a team, babysitting on an evening usually takes place in the hotel room or back at the family home. One nanny is assigned to one to two families attending the wedding and you will be shadowing that families for the day ahead, helping out where necessary. 

The following applies - 

  • We require you to have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children

  • All nannies are enhanced DBS checked

  • Hold a Paediatric First Training certificate dated within the last 2 years or be willing to take the course

  • Have at least 2 references who are contactable

PROFESSIONAL NANNY REQUIRED IN YORK

A family of 4 are seeking a live-out flexible nanny on a permanent basis. 

The position is to care for 2 children who are 1 & 7 years old. The parent's are both doctors who work on shift basis, so need someone who is happy to work different shifts on a weekly basis, most times would be 8am - 6pm however the nanny maybe required to work from as early as 7:30am and as late as 8:30pm. 

Some weeks may be 48 hours and other weeks maybe just 15 hours, average monthly hours are 120 hours however they do vary as November hours will roughly be 110 & December hours will roughly be 132 hours with Christmas day & Boxing day off & January hours will be 80 hours. The hours per month will never exceed 132 hours. 

On the basis of this, the position will likely be offered as salaried however hourly rate will be considered. 

Duties will include - ​

  • Help children get ready & take children to and from school & activities  

  • Care & Supervision

  • Light Housekeeping tasks

  • Cooking meals for the children

  • Plan and supervise activities 

  • Ensure the children are well cared for and introduced to educational opportunities through play and activities 

Hours -

Flexible to suit the parents rota'd shifts, working days will be between Monday - Friday. 

Can be as early as 7:30am and as late as 8:30pm some days. Most days are likely to be 8am - 6pm 

The following applies - 

  • The nanny is expected to have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children. 

  • Have an enhanced DBS check or apply for when ready for interviews with the family

  • Have a Paediatric first aid certificate, dated within the last 2 years or be willing to take the course.

A LIVE - IN PROFESSIONAL NANNY IS REQUIRED IN JERSEY, CHANNEL ISLANDS  

 

Full Time Live - In Professional Nanny required in the Channel Islands, Jersey.
Care will be for 2 young children

The family require someone committed, someone who can provide her with the confidence that they'll stick around. Jersey is a beautiful place to live but the Nanny must be someone who wants the more chilled island life.

 Based in Jersey, the role involves all aspects of care for the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of the children and the general good running of the family. Structure, discipline and manners are very important, but the family want to stress that these things must be matched with fun and freedom for the children, so that they have positive attitudes, have the confidence to be open minded and are the best version of themselves possible.

Core Duties Include:

  • Organising nursery drop-offs, pick-ups and administration associated to schooling

  • Supporting parents in all aspects of behavioural and emotional development

  • Organising educational and sensory development activities for both children to enjoy

  • Being imaginative and organising fun and messy playtimes, finding and creating a wide array
    of activities for each child to enjoy and learn from

  • Organising sports and physical activities (swimming, soccer, horse riding, kite flying, running
    on sand dunes, cycling, dog walking etc)

  • Organising group activities and making sure both boys have good emotional and socialisation
    skills

  • Shopping for and cooking varied fresh and nourishing meals, also feeding and weaning the
    baby

  • Teaching the children aspects of hygiene and heath, personal safely and independence

  • Providing first aid and reporting to parents bumps, scraps and health observations

  • Diarising and administrating child activities with family (including publishing child routines for
    all), ensuring parents attend all milestone events

  • Basic shopping for children, nappies, toiletries etc

  • Keeping record of spend on the boy’s activities, food and ‘cost of running’

  • Attending family meetings (at which the family plans activities/babysitting etc for the week

  • Babysitting

  • Keeping diary/record for parents of child development, giving daily updates via WhatsApp of
    the day’s fun

  • Organising travel arrangements for child as required

  • Tidying/house-keeping after children including laundry, keeping toys clean and ordered

  • Keeping Nanny car, nanny quarters ordered and in good state of repair

  • Working with cleaners, gardeners and any other help to ensure best use of time and effort

 

On top of the above and in addition you may be asked to:

  • Assist the family in basic chores (cooking, shopping, housework etc

  • Assist the family in basic household administration (letting in a serviceman, paying invoices, picking up parcels/dry cleaning, booking activities etc)

  • Assist grandparents when they are babysitting so that they stick to the routine

  • Dog walking/feeding/cuddles

  • Help look after other children when guests are in the house

  • Overnight babysitting and travel with or without family

The family require someone who is discreet and CONFIDENTIALITY to the families privacy is paramount.

Pets & partners are welcome to relocate however please note that Jersey have strict licenses, nannies do not need licenses.

Benefits-

Salary is negotiable depending on experience between £22,000 - £25,000

A family in Leeds are seeking a dedicated full time live-out nanny who will become part of the family and be a strong support, the candidate must be a career nanny. 

The position is to care for 5 children ranging from birth to 7 years (5th baby due next year)

Mum will be at home so this will be a mix of sole charge and supporting mum. 

The ideal nanny will have a can do attitude and will be happy to muck in. 

The nanny must have a good knowledge of child development and ample work experience within childcare settings and ideally have worked in a private domestic home before.

Housekeeping experience is also a must, the family have high expectations within the house cleanliness an organisation
